What is the best city break for couples?

Paris, Rome and Venice are traditionally considered the best city break locations for couples. They’re all considered to be ‘romantic’ cities and have a certain charm.

However, other places are perfect for couples. Budapest, Edinburgh and Prague are other great spots in Europe to check out, Sydney in Australia is a brilliant destination and New York is a perfect one in America.

What is the best European city break?

From my personal experience, the answer is Berlin. I love the history and vibe here and spent the whole time seeing all the museums in the city and the other fascinating sights.

As a general top five that doesn’t include Berlin, I’d go with Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Lisbon, Naples and Vienna.
